High Tension In Macharla: TDP Leaders Under House Arrest!

Macharla sitting MLA, YSRCP Leader Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddydestroying an EVM at a polling booth in Palvai Gate in Macharla constituency of Palnadu district led to a big sensation across the state. The Police officials intensified their search operations to find the MLA. The Election Commission of India became serious about the issue.

On the other hand, the TDP leaders gave Chalo Macharla call to meet the activists and leaders who were injured in the attack launched by Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy and YCP leaders. This led to a tense situation in Macharla again. Section 144 was effective in Macharla from May 13 to date. Palnadu district SP Malika Garg said that due to this no event can be permitted in Palnadu and the Police did not grant permission to the Chali Macharla event.

Against this backdrop, the Police kept the TDP leaders under house arrest to stop them from reaching Macharla. TDP leaders in Guntur Nakka Anand Babu and Kanaparti Srinivasa Rao were arrested. Devineni Uma and Varla Ramaiah were also kept under house arrest. It is known that TDP Macharla candidate Julakanti Brahma Reddy has been under house arrest from the next day of polling.

Amid this, Julakanti Brahma Reddy made sensational comments on Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy. Julaknati said earlier that Pinnelli threw a challenge that he would come to Macharla from Hyderabad in 2 hours and asked where he is now. He even taunted Pinnelli that he went through a lot of trouble on both sides of the state border. Alleging that Pinnelli ran away with the support of the Police, Julakanti said that what else would be lower than an MLA escaping by jumping from a wall?
