1st Time Entry Into USA on H1B Visa? You’re not Safe Either?

It is already known that the United States administration has started to crack down on the international immigration population and particularly with regard to the Indian population.

Now the latest developments are suggesting that an Indian origin individual who had been travelling to the United States for the first time on H1B Visa was sent back by the immigration authorities.

According to the information shared, CBP officers carefully checked all documents and questioned whether he was genuinely employed or currently on the bench.

For first-time H1B employees entering the U.S, especially in employer-client model situations, re-entry after such a denial could become very difficult.

It was also mentioned that the officers recorded a self-video statement from him regarding the withdrawal of his H1B visa application before sending him back.

People are already starting to wonder if this is a direct result of the recent 100K dollar fee that was imposed by the Trump administration. But even by that meter, there is no logical explanation to rejecting and sending back a first time entrant.

After approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes of investigation and questioning by CBP officers, he was sent back. During the interview, the officers asked detailed questions about his resume, employment status, and the reason for coming to the U.S. after such a long gap following his H1B approval.

If this is the case of the H1B approved visa travelers, then things could get really organising for the rest of the Indian folk in the near future.
