Former Indian Cricket team captain Virat Kohli became the latest celebrity to fall prey. A deep fake video was released which was created in a way that he was promoting a betting app. The video has the Run Machine saying the betting app has a good winning percentage.

The video also featured a popular TV journalist in the North. The video created a sensation on social media with people wondering if the video was the original one. Later it was found that the video was a deep fake one and it was an edited one.

Virat Kohli is the second cricketer to fall prey to the trend. Earlier legendary player Sachin Tendulkar's deep fake video was released. He took to social media to clear the doubts about this. Saying that the video was deep fake he urged everyone to be cautious of the trend.
