October 7th is the most unforgettable date for Middle East nation Israel for all the wrong reasons. It is the date when thousands of rockets hit the country. Palestine waged a deadly war on Israel as around 5000 rickets were shot from the Gaza Strip. Militants group Hamas was behind the deadly war.

With Gaza waging a war Israel launched a counterattack. With this, tense scenes are taking place between the two nations and the border areas. The war is not confined to the two nations and the tense situation has a big reach. Recently, an incident was reported where an old man in the US is said to have stabbed a small boy to death due to his identity.

Now it is said that the Israel and Gaza war has hit the US College campuses. As per the media reports, the colleges and University campuses in the US are seeing supporters and opposers of both sides.

It is said that students in the institutions are divided into two groups that support Israel and the second one supports Hamas. The students are also said to be holding protests on the campuses by holding placards to show support.

Talking about the supporters of Israel, the protestors held placards and displayed pictures of the victims who were attacked by the Hamas militants. These pictures are displayed on the main roads. Protestors also displayed the flags of Israel. It is said that the majority of Israel supporters are Jews. They flaunted the Israel flags.

Contrary to this, Palestine supporters also held protests and held placards with "Free Palestine" and "End the Occupation" written on them.

It is said that many educational institutions in the United States including Columbia University see a divide in the political views. While one section supported Israel, the other side supported Palestine. Both sides have reasons to support the sides and stand in solidarity with the concerned side.
