The fucking thing here is that even stable companies like the Tata consultancy services are switching up in terms of payment packages to their employees.

This is to be understood if we look at the latest confession that was shared by a senior worker at Tata consultancy services. He shared on social media about how his package allowance was nearly cut in half due to the company parameters.

Yesterday's compensation letter hit harder than expected. My personal allowance was ₹66,000 per month earlier. Now it has been reduced to ₹25,000 per month. Not because I stopped working. Not because the pressure reduced. Not because expectations became lower.

Same workload. Same deadlines. Same late-night calls. Same "please stretch a little more."

People say money isn't everything, but when your monthly income suddenly drops this much, it affects everything, your plans, responsibilities, savings, and honestly, your motivation too.

What hurts the most is realizing that no matter how much extra effort you put in, sometimes a single letter can make you feel completely undervalued. Still logged in today. Still attending meetings. Still replying with "Sure, I'll do it."

But mentally, something changed yesterday.

If this is the reality of IT industry in the days to follow, then the IT sector must be preparing for drastic measures in the days to come.
