Jagan Writes To AP Assembly Speaker With This Request!

The YCP recorded a failed show in the recent Andhra Pradesh elections. The party that went to elections as a ruling party with full confidence failed big time. From 151 seats, it fell to 11 seats. YCP lost power and fell to the opposition. People gave a bigger mandate to the alliance than they gave to Jagan in 2019.

As the YCP managed to win just 11 seats there is a big debate on whether the party would get the opposition status or not. Amid this YS Jagan created a sensation with his letter to the Assembly speaker Ayyannapatrudu with a request.

As per the information that is coming from mainstream media Jagan had written to the Speaker on the opposition status. He requested him to consider giving his party the opposition status as thy got the highest seats in the opposition.

He said that there is no rule to get 10 percent of seats to get the opposition status. The former Chief Minister said that this was not followed in the Parliament or the Assembly house in the combined state. Citing the examples he asked the Speaker to consider this.

On the occasion, Jagan also highlighted the alleged conversion of Ayyannapatrudu Chintakayala and another person where they discussed about him. Highlighting this, Jagan raised a doubt of whether he would get the opposition status or not.

Talking about the importance of the opposition side Jagan said the opposition party can strongly raise the voice for the public issues in the house. Listing all these issues the former Chief Minister had written to the Speaker to look into this.
