The Janasena party is undergoing a significant transition period in Andhra Pradesh with party chief Pawan Kalyan, fully committed to enhancing the structural integrity within the party ranks. In this context, something very interesting is happening now.

According to the latest reports Amanchi Krishnamohan, who won as the Cheerala MLA on behalf of the Congress Party in 2009, proved his political strength by securing victory as an independent candidate in 2014.

After joining YSRCP, he was unable to progress politically to the level he aspired during Jagan's tenure. In the 2024 elections, contesting as a Congress candidate, he garnered over 40,000 votes, demonstrating that he still holds considerable strength at the grassroots level.

According to the latest information from political circles, there is buzz that Amanchi Krishnamohan is likely to join the JanaSena Party soon. Discussions are also ongoing that he is aspiring for a JanaSena ticket from Cheerala.

If this joining happens, with leaders like Balineni Srinivasareddy from Ongole, Amanchi Krishnamohan from Cheerala, and Amanchu Swamulu in the Giddaluru area, there are clear prospects for a significant boost in JanaSena's political strength in Bapatla–Prakasam districts.
