Telangana Chief Minister KCR increased the political heat in the state at once. Putting an end to the long wait, he announced the list of candidates who would be running for the upcoming elections. This gave a big clarity on who got the tickets and who will try their luck in the elections.

While there are 119 seats in the state, candidates for 115 seats were announced as four seats were put on hold. Barring a few seats, the BRS went for the tried and tested formula of giving tickets to the sitting candidates.

A lot of debates and discussions have been going on about who would get the tickets. Many aspirants pinned high hopes that they would get the tickets. A few famous personalities were also on the list of aspirants.

Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy, father-in-law of Icon Star Allu Arjun is also among the aspirants. He openly said that he wants to try his luck from the Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly seat and a few media reports alleged that Reddy said Allu Arjun would campaign for him in the elections.

Film stars venturing into politics and campaigning is not new and we have seen this many times. Many felt that this might happen as Allu Arjun is his son-in-law. He recently visited Nalgonda to inaugurate the Kancharla Convention Centre. Crowds gathered in big numbers and gave a grand welcome to the star.

When BRS leader Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy pinned high hopes on the Nagarjuna Sagar seat, he faced a big blow. He was not given a ticket. This is a big shock for him.

Following this, a debate has been going on about what he would do next. At a time when he pinned high hopes that he would get a ticket and he might rope in his son-in-law for the campaign, he was not given a ticket.

BRS took the upcoming elections seriously and is not ready to take any risk with the elections. It is said that a survey was conducted internally and those who got good ratings were given a ticket.

Observers say that a few sitting MLAs were not given tickets for the same reason as the candidates did not get the tickets.

It is known that Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy contested the Ibrahimpatnam seat in 2014 and lost. Manny felt that he might get at least Ibrahimpatnam seat if not for the Nagarjuna Sagar seat. But he faced a double blow as he was not picked for both seats.
