Film stars taking the political route and contesting in elections is not new and we have seen this many times. The 2024 Lok Sabha elections are going to be no different as far as the trend is concerned. A few members from the film industry are making a big debut in the elections this time.

Talented actress Kangana Ranaut is among them. The actress who has the image of pro-BJP was given a ticket from her home state. We have been hearing a lot about this for some time. Making the reports true Kangana was given a ticket from the Mandi seat.

Kangana is having a busy time campaigning for the upcoming elections. This is the first election of Kanagana and she aspires to start her career on a big note. For this she has been putting in her best efforts.

Adding intensity to the elections it is said that the sitting MP’s son might be fielded as the candidate. As the MP wants to take a backstep from active politics the MP wants the son to be the candidate to continue the legacy.

Pratibha Singh, former Chief Minister’s wife is the sitting MP from Mandi. It is said that she wants her son Vikramaditya Singh to be the candidate. The same was suggested to the Congress high command and the leadership might take a call on this.

The political observers say that Kangana might face a tough fight in Mandi given the legacy of Singh. He comes from a political family. His mother is the sitting MP and his father was the CM who assumed the CMO six times.

Vikramaditya Singh is an MLA and a Cabinet Minister in Himachal Pradesh. Besides the political legacy, his strong belief might also work for him. Kangana after talks about following Hindu customs and traditions. Vikramaditya Singh attended the Ayodhya Ram Mandir inauguration and this might help him as he was among the two MLAs who attended the ceremony. Congress avoided the ceremony but they did not.
