ED Serves Summons To Kavitha, Big Turn In Liquor Case!

It appears that the ED is not ready to leave Telangana Chief Minister KCR’s daughter MLC Kavitha. In connection with the Delhi liquor scam, ED served a summons to her yet again. When everyone almost forgot the case, it came back to bite her, say political observers.

A few months back, ED officials questioned MLC Kavitha in her house in Hyderabad and ED Delhi office thrice. Back then many felt that Kavitha would be arrested in the case. However, ED and CBI did not touch her for a few months in the case. This made many think that Kavitha received a big relief in the Liquor scam which created a sensation in the country.

Kavitha is in the news now with the latest development as ED served a summons to her in the case asking her to appear before the officers in the national capital Delhi. She appeared before the ED thrice in March. It is known that recently Arun Ramachandran Pillai turned approver in the case. Pillai gave his statement to ED authorities under section 164.

It is said that ED served a summons to Kavitha based on the information derived from Pillai. Earlier, the investigation agencies dubbed Arun Ramachandran Pillai as the benami of Kavitha. The case is seeing big developments in the case with a few members from the South group becoming approvers, Pillai, Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy, and his son Raghava Reddy giving key information.
