End Of Wait: Kodi Kathi Srinu Granted Bail At Last!

If we say Janupalli Srinivasa Rao then most of the people won't know and recognise him. But if we say Kodi Kathi Srinu then the majority of people from the Telugu states will recognise him. Such was the sensation the incident created in Andhra Pradesh back then.

It's been around five years since the case was reported. Ever since he was arrested he has been trying hard to get bail. His family has been waging a legal battle to see that he walks out of jail. The fight saw a big development as he was given bail at last.

Nearly five years after getting arrested Kodi Kathi Srinu was granted bail. The Andhra Pradesh High Court gave a big relief to him and granted him bail. However, the Court also laid down some conditions while giving the bail.

If we look at the conditions the Court laid down for Kodi Kathi while granting bail he has to visit the Mummidivaram Police Station every Sunday. He should submit two sureties and a guarantee of Rs 25,000. Srinu was also directed by the Court to not make any public appearance and talk about the case.

The much-talked-about case that created a sensation in divided Andhra Pradesh happened back in 2018. Srinu attacked Jagan with a Kodi Kathi at the Vizag airport. Jagan was shifted to Hyderabad for treatment. The case was handed over to the National Investigation Agency(NIA) for the probe.
