Telangana is one of the poll-bound states and the state is scheduled to go for the general elections. The election fight would be a three-faced one with an intense fight between the ruling BRS and the opposition Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party. BRS is eyeing a hat trick of wins and the opposition parties are aiming for power.
BRS already swung into action and announced candidates for 114 seats. On the other hand, the opposition parties are yet to announce the candidates and there is a lot of competition among the aspirants for the tickets.
At a time when the political parties are busy drawing strategies, BRS Working President KTR Made some interesting comments on the elections. The IT Minister said that the elections might not be held in December and he has a reason to say this.
Talking about the election notification, KTR said that if the notification is not released in October then there is a chance for the elections to be held after six months. He also said that we would get clarity on this in the Parliament sessions.
The IT Minister also spoke about the Jamili elections possibility. He said that it doesn't matter if general elections or Jamili elections, BRS would come to power and the party would win over 90 seats and a hat trick would be made.
Looking at his comments, the elections might be held next year. If the election notification is not released next month, then there is a chance of elections being held next year. A few states will go for elections along with the Lok Sabha elections.
If the notification is not released, then there is a possibility of Telangana going for elections next year. The political parties in the state will get more time to prepare for the elections if this happens. Let us wait and see what happens here.
