Kukatpally Seat Getting All The Attention In Telangana?

The much-awaited general elections in Telangana are round the corner. The political parties in the state are busy drawing the strategies for the elections. As per the reports, one seat became the talk of the town and the big focus is on the same seat with the aspirants going all out.

Kukatpally is one of the busiest and costliest areas in the city. We can find massive buildings and big trade complexes in Kukatpally. The same region is said to be very crucial in the current political picture with all the parties wanting to win the seat and the candidates are also eyeing the same.

Kukatpally has been the strong zone of the TDP. But everything changed with the state bifurcation. The caste dynamics and others worked for the grand old party. Kukatpally is among the few seats TDP won in the state post the state bifurcation. Madhavaram Krishna Rao won the seat then and he took the BRS route.

The BRS announced the candidates recently and Madhavaram Krishna Rao was given a ticket. So he is contesting his third election and he might create a hatrick. However, political observers say that the BRS leader might face a tough time in the elections due to some negative aspects.

With the Khammam event, TDP proved that it still has a strong presence in the state and it cannot be written off. It will not come to power, but in seats where settlers and Andhra-origin people are more in number, TDP will have an edge. Kukatpally is among this.

Reports are abuzz that the party is again focusing on the seat. A key leader might be placed here. Moreover, the party wants to come out of the election shock it faced with Nandamuri Suhasini’s defeat.

Talking about the grand old Congress party, a big shot is said to be showing interest in the seat. The candidate is busy lobbying to get the ticket for the next polls.

This tells that the three parties are focused on the seat and want to win the same. Given the buzz around the seat, the candidates are said to be showing interest in spending big money to win if required.

Kukatpally has a big population of settlers and Kamma community. It is known that leaders across the parties are condemning the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu and standing in solidarity with him. All these factors might play a big role.
