No words can describe the ongoing situation in Bangladesh. The anti-reservation protests which have been going on for some weeks have gone out of hand. Rioters are on a rampage by damaging almost everything. The statues of the Father of Nation and Ambulances were also not spared by them.

The current situation added more trouble to the Minorities in the country. Hindus are other communities that are the minorities in the country are often persecuted. They live in fear of possible attacks at any time. The current situation added more troubles for them.

In less than one week over 200 attacks happened on the minorities. With this, we can imagine the plight of the Hindus and other communities. They are protesting against the attacks against them.

In a bid to protest, Lakhs of Hindus had hit the road seeking protection. As per the media reports, the peaceful protests were held in Dhaka and Chittagong. The protestors held placards saying that their lives matter and the attacks should be stopped.

Hindus and other minorities are being targeted there. Famous temples were vandalised and damaged. Businesses held by Hindus were also attacked by the angry protestors.

It is said that around seven lakh people took part in the protests across the nation. Supporters held protests in other countries too to stand in solidarity with them in the tough time.

Reacting to the situation, Bangladesh's Interim Leader Muhammad Yunus said that what’s going on is not right and the situation should be addressed at the earliest.

Recently, Indian American Congressman Shri Thanedar condemned the attacks and said that the fight won't stop unless justice is served to them.
