After Mamata, Ex-CM Reacts To Chandrababu Naidu’s Arrest!

A few days back, Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu was arrested by the AP CID. When a person of his stature gets arrested it is common to expect a wide range of reactions from the leaders. But it did not happen. With everyone being busy with the G20 summit hosted in Delhi, the issue was ignored.

As the G20 summit ended, the national media and the big leaders were slowly reacting to this arrest. A big national media outlet held a discussion on the issue by inviting members and representatives from different parties. It is known that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reacted to this and raised a doubt of vendetta.

Now it's the turn of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav to react to the issue. Taking to social media platforms, he gave his reaction to this and said that the trend of arresting the opposition leaders became a trend not only at the Centre but in the state as well.

The ex-Chief Minister dragged the BJP into this and said the BJP and its opportunistic friends should remember that such behaviour is not acceptable and would prove costly.

While it is understandable that it is common for big leaders to react when personalities like Chandrababu Naidu get arrested. But no one can understand why he dragged the BJP into the picture when the arrest happened in Andhra Pradesh where the YCP is in power.

“The trend of arresting opposition leaders has now become a trend from the Center to the states. Put in jail those who are not coming to power, this was the policy of autocratic rulers, there is no place for this in a democracy,” his post loosely translates.
