Roja's New Strategy In Nagari: To Pacify Rebel Leaders?

Roja has an interesting journey. She was one of the top actresses in the south in the 90s and taking a new journey she took the political path. She stood strong in the arena and won two consecutive terms. Roja was also made the Cabinet Minister in Cabinet 2.0. She is gearing up for the elections.

Minister Roja wants to record a hat trick of wins. However, the task looks tough due to various reasons. The local leaders' not-so-good ties with Roja is dubbed as one of the major reasons. The leaders openly said that they were not happy with the Minister and they would not work for her.

In front of the media, the leaders held a protest holding placards against her. There is a talk that the rebel leaders might pour water on Roja's wish to win another election. Rebel leaders grouping up is not a good sign for any leader.

Leaders' unhappiness with Roja is not a new thing and we have been hearing about this for a long time. Many say that this is the reason behind the reports of Roja possibly missing the ticket this time. But YCP went with the firebrand leader.

The leaders trying to distance themselves from Roja creates a chance for the opposition parties to hinder her winning chances. Understanding this, Roja is said to have changed her strategy and is trying to pacify the rebel leaders.

The Chittoor region has a proximity with Tamil Nadu and Tamil-speaking people will also be in big numbers. Nagari is no different from this. It is said that Roja's husband Selvamani is trying to gather support from the Tamil community for her. But the result is not that encouraging. This made Roja go for other options.

The political circles say that Roja is going into touch with the rebel leaders and trying to pacify them to work together. The Minister is said to be trying for a compromise so that the issues would be sorted out.

But the leaders are said to be unmoved. The main allegation the leaders earlier made is that they are sidetracked and are not getting any prominence despite working hard for her for two terms. If the same continues then it would be a big issue for Roja.
