Recently it was reported that the HCA did not pay the electricity dues. With this, the electricity was stopped and the supply resumed. Ahead of the crucial SRH vs CSk match the alleged electricity dues grabbed everyone’s attention.
Now another controversy has hit the cricket body as there are severe allegations that the match tickets are sold in black market. Every time a big match is played there the allegations pop up. The same happened with the IPL too as the tickets were sold within no time.
Now Khairatabad Congress MLA Danam Nagender made sensational comments on this. He alleged that the tickets are sold in black market. He even asked why complimentary tickets are also sold in the black market.
Not stopping there the MLA even questioned the lack of Telugu Players represented in the SRH team. He asked why there was no Telugu player in the team when we have many talented players who are shining in Ranjis and other Domestic cricket tournaments.
Expressing his dissatisfaction he said that if no Telugu players are taken into the team in the next season then they would not allow a single match to be played at the stadium. The MLA said that they would sit outside the stadium to stop the matches.
This is not the first time such a demand has been raised. Earlier an MLA from Tamil Nadu created a big controversy by saying that the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) should be banned from the IPL league for not having local players in the team. Now Danam Nagender made similar comments.
