It is known that the whole country is busy with the debate of whether the name of India is going to be changed to Bharat. An intense debate on the doubt has been going on since yesterday. A few developments are adding fuel to the debate. The whole issue started when the reports said that the invitations for the G20 Summit were sent in the name of the President of Bharat.

The proposal is getting a mixed response from the common people and the celebrities as well. While a few celebrities are welcoming the proposal few others ask what is the need to do such things. A heated debate is going on about this on social media and mainstream media as well.

The opposition parties and experts are slamming the Union government on this and asking how the government can do such things without even informing the Parliament and the people in the country. When such a big decision is taken it is mandatory to pass the bill in Parliament.

The Narendra Modi government has a good strength in the Parliament and the ally parties will also extend their support for the bills. Despite this the government did not feel any need to inform even the people who voted for the party.

BJP is in power and Narendra Modi is in the Prime Minister’s position just because the voters in the country voted. However neither the party nor the PM had the idea of informing the people that India’s name was going to be changed to Bharat.

Now a new thing has come out which says that the Indian government used the word Bharat earlier but this was not announced. In the recent recent BRICS meeting which marks the 15th BRICS Summit the Indian government reportedly used the Prime Minister of Bharat.

Of late the Prime Minister of India has been facing criticism that he is doing what the previous PMs had not done. We have seen the outrage over the Prime Minister inaugurating the new Parliament building instead of the President. Though BJP tried to quote the example of Nehru in the past that did not work.
