The Hyderabad Cricket Association, which is the governing body of cricket in the state often hits the headlines for the wrong reasons. The internal issues between the members of the body grab everyone's attention. No words can describe the intensity when it's a matter of elections.

It is known that former Indian cricket captain Mohammed Azharuddin and the HCA board had some issues for some time and they often lock horns. In many instances, both sides made intense comments raising many eyeballs. Azharuddin served as the HCA President in the chief.

As another issue between the two sides, Mohammed Azharuddin's name was missing from the voter's list for the upcoming elections. Having faced a big jolt with this, he moved the Supreme Court. He also sought directives to apply to the polls.

However, the Supreme Court gave him a shock by saying no. The country's top court dismissed his petition. The Court reportedly said that the voters list was prepared already and they cannot interfere now.

It is said that during the arguments, the bench said Mohammed Azharuddin served as the HCA President for a few others and now let others come into the position and the elections will be held.

Things in the HCA started to take an ugly turn after Azharuddin's appointment as the HCA chief. Post this, the HCA started seeing cracks and issues among the members. The board members came under one roof against the ex-skipper. The issue even went to the notice of the Courts as well.

Earlier Azharuddin was disqualified as HCA after a special committee found that he is the chief of a club named Deccan Blues Club. Those who are associated with any clubs were asked to stay out of the polls. However, Azharuddin has been saying that the documents that say he is the Deccan Blues Club President are forged ones. However, the Supreme Court was not satisfied with the arguments.
