Motkupalli Narasimhulu is a name that needs no introduction in Telangana politics. He won as an MLA from TDP and Congress parties a few times. Currently, he is in the BRS party. However, his services were not utilised by KCR yet. He was not even given any post. Motkupalli Narasimhulu's name was also not there in the recently announced candidates list.

With this, he started focusing on his political future. He won five consecutive elections from Alair seat in the combined Nalgonda seat in 1983, 1985, 1989, 1994, and 1999. He won four elections between 1983 to 1994 from TDP and won the 1993 elections as a Congress leader. Later, he joined the TDP again and won the elections from Thungathurthy in 2009. In the 2018 polls, he contested on the Bahujan Left Front and came fourth in the polls. So far he won six elections as MLA.

TDP came to power in AP in 2014. Despite state bifurcation, Motkupalli Narasimhulu stayed with the TDP. Earlier, he said that he was assured a Rajya Sabha seat or a Governor post by the TDP chief. However, he did not get any posts. With this, he made severe allegations against Chandrababu and took the BRS route with KCR's promise in 2018.

When KCR started the Dalit Bandhu scheme, he took the suggestions and ideas of Motkupalli. However, he was neglected. When the candidates list was announced for the elections, Motkupalli hoped that he would be on the list and would get an Alair ticket. However, KCR shocked him.

On the other hand, it is reported that Motkupalli is feeling embarrassed as he is not getting an appointment with CM KCR despite trying for six months. It is said that he is also feeling bad for not getting a spot on the candidates list.

Amid this, Motkupalli Narasimhulu expressed his dissatisfaction with the BRS candidates list announced by KCR. As he did not get a ticket from the Alair seat, he focused on his future plans. He met his followers in Yadagirigutta. A talk is going on saying that he would leave BRS and would join either BJP or Congress.
