Even when the big countries found it hard to deal with the virus spread, New Zealand was successful in keeping the virus in control as it was one of the few nations that controlled the pandemic.
Yet again the nation stood as a big example as a young Parliamentarian. A woman legislator entered the House making the 21-year-old the youngest MP in the recent past. She entered the house by defeating a veteran leader. Her stint was not proven wrong with her speech.
The Youngest MP in New Zealand Hana-Rawhiti Maipi-Clarke had set the House on fire with her fiery speech. She hails from the Maori clan. In the House, she spoke about the native communities and said that she will not let them down.
She said that she would die for the native communities and live for them and she would live for them. Talking about her election mandate she said that she would not let them down and be their voice.
While taking the political path came out of the moon for her, politics are not new for her family. For generations, her family has been in politics, and in every generation they had representation. Her aunt also worked hard for the native communities and the culture.
During her speech, she expressed her dissatisfaction with the way the government is framing guidelines for the native communities. Saying that her family has been the voice of the Māori, the MP said that she will continue the same for the communities in the country.
