Just a few months into assuming the office Nara Lokesh proved what he could do. Now he took a big decision to set up a University on the booming technology which is Artificial intelligence.
He chaired a crucial meeting with the officials of higher education. During the same Nara Lokesh reportedly said that a World Class AI University would be set up in the state which would help in providing services in various sectors.
It is said that Nara Lokesh elaborated on making Andhra Pradesh a world-class AI hub which includes setting up a new AI university. Having said that he directed the concerned officials to work in preparing a road map for the same and gathering the land for the same.
The officials were directed to work on the eco-system, guidelines, and other aspects of the same. Talking about the benefit of the AI University Nara Lokesh said that with it we can offer effective services in as many as 16 areas like education, healthcare, governance, and others.
AI is the current phenomenon in the world and the latest technology is expected to replace humans in many areas. Experts say that those who upskill themselves with AI would have a bright future and AI is going to rule many sectors.
To create an opportunity for the students the Minister wants to set up a University on AI. Chandrababu Naidu has the image of a savvy leader. Under his tenure as the CM in the combined AP, Cyberabad saw significant growth and he had managed to bring Bill Gates to Hyderabad. It looks like Nara Lokesh wants to follow his father in using the new technology.
