After the successful two-day global summit, the focus is now on the special session of Parliament. The special sessions would last for five days and there is also a special thing in the sessions.
The Parliament sessions started today and Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the media. Modi said that the span of the sessions would be short but there is a scope for taking historic decisions.
Many wonder why the Prime Minister spoke about the historic scope of taking decisions. The reason for this is, that there is a possibility of the government tabling and passing a few key bills. If everything goes well, the bills might also get passed.
Speaking to the media, the Indian Prime Minister expressed his happiness over conducting the G20 summit and said that the New Parliament will be inaugurated tomorrow and the members will move into it tomorrow.
The special session started just a while ago. Addressing the house, Narendra Modi recalled his journey from a member of Lok Sabha. Walking down the memory, he said that when he entered the house, he did not think that he would get to experience so much love from people.
The Prime Minister said that the previous Prime Ministers made unmatchable contributions to the Parliament. On the occasion, Narendra Modi remembered the Prime Ministers who served earlier from Jawaharlal Nehru to previous Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
The takeaway of the sessions is that the Parliament Building which served as the platform for various discussions and debates will be replaced by the new one. The members will enter the new house tomorrow.
