Activist Jailed For Fighting For Rights Wins Nobel!
Narges Mohammadi, a women's rights activist is among the arrested people who are still in prison.

A few activists are also said to have been killed while many activists were arrested and sent to jail. They are still behind the bars waiting for a relief.
Narges Mohammadi, a women's rights activist is among the arrested people who are still in prison. She was arrested for her fight for the women's rights in Iran. She is facing multiple cases and charges.
Now the activist was honored with the prestigious Noble. Considering her protests and fight for women against their oppression. The Noble Committee said that she was picked for the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize.
The Noble Committee has been announcing the prestigious awards for the winners across the fields. Recently, scientists whose work helped for Covid vaccines were given the prestigious Nobel. Now it is the turn of Narges Mohammadi to get the award.
As she is in jail now, the Nobel committee is expressing confidence in her walking out of prison and attending the ceremony.
"Her brave struggle has come with tremendous personal costs. Altogether, the regime has arrested her 13 times, convicted her five times, and sentenced her to a total of 31 years in prison and 154 lashes," the committee said about the winner.
Mohammadi is the deputy head of the NGO Defenders of Human Rights Center which fights for human rights. Under this, she took part in many fights. Her fight for the rights of women in Iran made her attack many cases and end up in jail.
