Astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore were sent to the International Space Station (ISS) a couple of months back. If everything had gone well we would have seen the astronauts safely returning. However, there was a delay in their return due to some technical issues. There are many concerns about the Astronauts.

As per the media reports, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration(NASA) would decide the fate of Sunita Williams on Saturday as a high-level meeting would be chaired on Saturday to decide how to go forward. It is said that NASA would take a call on different scenarios.

Earlier a few issues were detected in Starliner vehicles which is said to be unsafe for carrying the Astronauts. It is said that NASA would take a call on whether or not to use the Starliner vehicle due to issues in the propulsion system.

If NASA thinks it is not safe for the Starliner to carry the Astronauts then it might return to Earth with the crew. To bring the Astronauts back safe NASA might seek the help of SpaceX. A capsule might be sent for them.

It is said that using the SpaceX capsule to bring the Astronauts back safely would take some time. The Capsule might be launched in September and it might take a few months for the mission to be completed.

Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore were supposed to return to Earth in just a week as per the schedule. But their stay is extended due to some technical issues and efforts are underway to bring them back safely. This is the first mission of the Boeing Starliner with the crew and it developed a few issues.
