Pawan Kalyan Wants To Win From Where He Lost?
However, he failed to win both seats. It looks like Pawan Kalyan wants to take a daring step and go for the tough seat.
By: Tupaki Desk | 21 Feb 2024 7:27 AM GMTTime flew fast as Andhra Pradesh is gearing up for another election. It was not a good stint with elections for the Janasena given the performance it recorded in the 2019 elections. The party which entered the elections with a lot of hopes barely managed to win just one seat. Party chief Pawan Kalyan also lost the elections.
Janasena wants to make a strong comeback and enter the Assembly House. Pawan Kalyan fans and Janasena supporters are desperate to see him in the Assembly. As the patty chief lost two seats he contested in, there is a big interest on the seat Pawan would contest.
In 2019 Pawan Kalyan contested from Bhimavaram and Gajuwaka seats. However, he failed to win both seats. It looks like Pawan Kalyan wants to take a daring step and go for the tough seat.
Pawan Kalyan reportedly wants to win where he lost and hence he wants to contest from the Bhimavaram seat. In the last elections, he came second. Despite this, he wants to take the risk.
Pawan Kalyan is in Bhimavaram now. It is said that he is gathering support from the TDP leaders. By seeking support from the TDP leaders he wants to increase his winning chances which is the need of the hour.
In the last elections, Pawan Kalyan contested alone without any alliance. But this time things are different as TDP and Janasena are in alliance. TDP has a strong cadre which no one can deny. If Janasena and TDP can work hard no one can stop Pawan Kalyan from entering the Assembly. It looks like this is the strategy of Pawan.
On top of this BJP might also join the force. As happened in 2014, TDP-BJP-Janasena might contest the elections. Pawan Kalyan is likely to meet the BJP bigwigs to discuss the alliance issue. We might get clarity on this soon.
