Pawan Kalyan Likely To Contest From Temple City?

Having announced the alliance with the grand old Telugu Desam Party, the Janasena party is busy with activities to get strong at the root level. Party chief Janasena is holding meetings and addressing the gathering. He is also making strong statements during the meetings.

Besides Pawan Kalyan, other key leaders also held meetings to draw strategies and discuss various aspects of the elections. These meetings also started a new buzz on teh possible seat from where Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan might contest in the next elections.

In the last elections, Pawan Kalyan contested Gajuwaka and Bhimavaram seats. However, he failed to win either seat. This time, he wants to win the elections and enter the Assembly House at any cost. Now, a seat was fixed reportedly.

Media reports are abuzz that Pawan Kalyan might contest the elections from the temple city of Tirupati. The local leaders are said to have proposed the same saying that the Janasena chief will emerge victorious if he contests from there. The leaders mentioned a few aspects reportedly. The leaders reportedly said that the city has a significant Balija population and this aspect will favour Pawan.

On the other hand, Tirupati has a trend of seeing the chiefs of the political parties winning from there. When TDP founder Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao contested his first elections, he won from Tirupati. He also won from Gudivada. Pawan Kalyan's brother Chiranjeevi also won from Tirupati in the 2009 polls.

With NTR, Chiranjeevi winning the elections from the temple city, the Janasena leaders feel that Pawan can pull off the same. On the other hand, TDP also has a strong presence there, which might work in favour of Pawan Kalyan as both parties are allied.
