The much anticipated IPL finale happened between Bengaluru and Punjab last night, and this resulted in the victory of Bengaluru, who have become the IPL champions for the first time in 18 years.

But however, there were these two players who are getting slammed on social media for their abnormal poor batting display in the finale last night.

As shocking asset may sound, even Virat Kohli has come under the radar for his slow innings in the game against Punjab last night, which almost ended up costing his team.

Kohli scored 43 runs from 35 balls on a pitch that appear to be shooting, batting very much. This is low innings from Kohli, largely cut down the scoring rate for RCB, which prevented them from reaching the 200 mark in the end.

But luckily, for Kohli, it turned out to be that this score of 190 runs was sufficient enough as Punjab could not chase it down. But nevertheless, the quality of the evenings was not on par with Kohli standards.

And the other player who ended up casting his team, the IPL trophy is none other than Nehal Wadhera. This Punjab Kings youngster was sent out to bat while the runrate was in the range of 10 per over.

However, this youngster ended up scoring 15 runs from 18 balls, which turned out to be an epic disaster, and Punjab ended up losing the game by imagine of six. Had there been any better display of intent in the middle Punjab could have easily claimed this trophy.

The end point is that these two players put on a very bad show with the bat in the big finale. While Virat Kohli could somehow emerged victorious due to the efforts of the team, Nehal turned out to be a culprit for Punjab.
