Prayers of Indians paid off as the Uttarakhand tunnel rescue which lasted for 17 days took a happy ending. All parties involved in the rescue operation had a big relief as all the workers trapped inside the tunnel were rescued and sent to hospital.

On Tuesday night the rescue operation was concluded. When the news broke out people started expressing their happiness on the successful stint. The rescue team is getting applause from various corners.

In an unexpected development, the issue took a political turn with the ruling and opposition parties locking horns with each other and targeting each other. The Congress party started the political game and took a sharp dig at the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

To target the Prime Minister the Congress party shared a cartoon showing him with a green flag in his hand. The party said if the cameras were installed at the place we would have a sight of Saheb(Narendra Modi). "Kuch camera vagera lagwaye, to sahib ke darshan ho jaaye," the party said on social media.

The political observers say that Congress might have taken a dig at Narendra Modi as he is often accused of posing for cameras all the time no matter what the situation. Whatever might be the reason behind this, the post created a sensation among the political circles.

On the other hand, the BJP did not sit silent. The leaders are saying that this is the least we can expect from a party. The leaders say that what happened in the rescue is something to be celebrated and cheered on as the workers are rescued.

Instead of joining the celebrations the Congress party is making a mockery in every issue. When everyone is thinking about the safety of 41 employees Congress is making a political issue of it, BJP fumes.
