The opposition parties in Andhra Pradesh have decided to go together for the elections. The seat sharing was also fixed. However, the seat allotment is leading to interesting developments. Aspirants who were denied tickets are putting up a big fight. However, only a few are lucky in this.

Janasena has been facing a tough time with the seat allotment and rebel leaders. Leaders who worked hard for the party faced a big shock as others were given tickets. Earlier a leader sat for a protest demanding a seat. Another leader is also standing strong on his demand.

Pothina Mahesh, an active member of Janasena pinned high hopes on the Vijayawada West assembly seat. Over the years he took part in many activities and met the voters. His followers were confident that he would get the ticket.

He faced a big shock with BJP getting the seat. Mahesh who contested from the same seat in 2019 faced a big jolt with this. Earlier he said that he might contest as a rebel leader if he doesn't get the ticket. His supporters held protests in his support.

Now the rebel leader gave a big shock to the Janasena party as he called it quits. It is said that the leader had sent a resignation letter to the party leadership. It has to be seen what will be the next step for Pothina Mahesh.

Pothina Mahesh did everything which was in his capacity to get the ticket. He asked the party leadership to consider his request. But that did help him. He even staged a protest to see that the party looked into his demand.

However, his efforts were in vain. With no option left, he reportedly left the party. For the past few days, it has been reported that Mahesh is in touch with the YCP. Now we have to wait and see what he will do now. A few Janasena leaders joined the YCP already.
