Shocker: Population to go down due to AI!

It is known that artificial intelligence is being seen as the next progressive and decisive thing in the global medium as it is making quick inroads in the global economy. However, the latest projections are suggesting that artificial intelligence would have a significant impact on global population as well.

A new warning from Professor Subhash Kak, a computer science expert at Oklahoma State University, says that artificial intelligence (AI) could cause a huge drop in the world’s population by the year 2300. He believes that if AI takes over most human jobs, people may stop having children because they’ll fear a future where their kids can’t find work or live a happy life.

According to his prediction, the global population could fall to just 100 million people similar to the population of the UK today. As a result, many big cities like New York or London could become empty and turn into ghost towns.

He also points out that birth rates are already falling in countries like Japan, South Korea, China, and across Europe. AI might make this worse by replacing jobs in many fields like law, education, and management.

Professor Kak, like Elon Musk, warns that people are not paying enough attention to the risks AI brings. He believes we need to take action now, including possibly starting life on other planets, to protect the future of humanity.
