It is known that Telugu Desam Party supremo Chandrababu Naidu was arrested earlier this month in connection with the AP Skill Development Scam. Things changed rapidly as he was sent to a remand and his custody was also extended. The entire episode came as a hammer blow to the opposition party.
Seeing that he is surrounded by troubles, Chandrababu Naidu waged a legal battle in this. However, the former Chief Minister has been focusing more on the quash petition seeking directives from the court to quash the remand and order orders.
But the road to this is appearing tough as he is not getting any relief. Forget about getting relief he is facing back-to-back shocks in this regard. His petition has been getting adjourned due to various reasons.
First he filed a quash petition in the High Court seeking directives to quash the remand and the charges filed against him. But he faced a big blow with the High Court dismissing the same.
Later he moved the Supreme Court. No words can describe the twists the petition saw in the top court. It was adjourned for three consecutive days. On Wednesday the petition went before the CJI-led bench.
But in vain, the petition was again adjourned to next month and the TDP leaders are eagerly waiting for the D-Day to arrive to see what happens next.
At different courts, Chandrababu Naidu faced big blows with the quash petitions filed. We will get clarity on whether he will get relief or not in a few days.
