Revanth Becomes Target Of Congress Seniors Again?

The grand old Congress party which is the longest-surviving party is famous for its internal issues and groups. Very often we get to hear that leaders in one camp have issues with others. When firebrand leader Revanth Reddy was made the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee(TPCC) chief, the seniors in the party who pinned hopes on the past were shocked by this.

They openly expressed dissatisfaction with Revanth Reddy and the leadership. They highlighted that Revanth Reddy came from the TDP and asked how the seniors could be ignored for such a big post. After the recent Karnataka election result, the seniors said they will work together.

But it looks like the possibility of the same has very few chances. It is said that the seniors in the party are not happy with Revanth Reddy and he became the target of the seniors. They are said to be talking about him in the internal meetings and closed-door gatherings.

Political observers say that the way Revanth Reddy is behaving in terms of ticket rows for the candidates is not going well with them. His comments hint that he is assuring two tickets for a family for the candidates.

For any party, the leadership confirms the tickets for the candidates. But Revanth Reddy’s aggression in this matter is making the seniors angry as they are reportedly feeling that they are left out in the process and their opinions are not valued.

Not only that Revanth Reddy addressing various issues is also making the seniors angry as they think indulging in unwanted issues will make the party weak. Media reports are abuzz that the seniors are discussing the same aspects during their meetings.

When the elections are approaching and the parties are busy drawing strategies, the Congress party is said to be dealing with the internal issues and the in-fights between the leaders. If this is not addressed then the party has to go through a tough time.
