Fighting Drugs, HYDRA Fear, Food Safety: Revanth Mark!

The Revanth Reddy Telangana government is the talk of the town due to what is happening in the state. HYDRAA is bringing down the illegal constructions, the Drug menace that is affecting children is being dealt with iron fist, and raids are conducted at the hotels where the quality measures are not followed. The Congress government which completed ten months in office is leaving a strong mark. The party came into power in December only but it could not do anything due to the election code with the Lok Sabha polls. Later the time had arrived to focus on these things and the Revanth government is doing the same.

HYDRA is a big attack on the encroachers. Lakes are a big natural resource. Obstacles to the flow constructions are built. With this, the rainwater is creating havoc in the rainy season. Without fearing the consequences a few big shots are encroaching on the lakes A former Union Minister encroached on 10 acres near the Gandipet Lake Full Tank level premises. As many as ten illegal constructions were demolished under Gandipet and Himayat Sagar Lakes. The encroachers are fearing whom the HYDRA would target next.

With the allegations of encroaching on the lake and constructing N Convention which belongs to Nagarjuna also faced the heat. There were allegations against it during the BRS government too. Demolition efforts also started. Now the Congress government also focused on the action. Nagarjuna issued a note saying that the issue is pending with the court and a stay order was also issued and despite this, it was demolished. We can imagine the nature of HYDRA as a few have approached the Court. The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection (HYDRA) is the brainchild of CM Revanth and it also has many powers. Revanth brought HYDRA to make Hyderabad a global city.

Drugs are a big menace in the country, not just in the Telugu states. Earlier drugs used to be sold only in isolated places. But things have changed and they are available everywhere. We often hear stories about drugs in pubs. But Revanth Reddy didn't want to hear about them and he brought Police and TS NAB officers into action. Multiple raids were conducted on the pubs in Hyderabad. A few DJs were also arrested. To stop drug usage the officials are conducting raids.

Special focus on food safety. Hyderabad is famous for its biryani. However, a few restaurants are not following the quality standards. While not every establishment is doing it a few hotels were found using less quality oil, frozen chicken, and mutton. The government is making a big statement that it won't compromise on safety. Telangana Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha has a key role in this. He is looking powerful compared to his stint as deputy CM in the combined state.

There is an opinion that the Revanth Reddy government did not do any work that impresses the people. Barring loan waiver to farmers and free bus travel for women there is an opinion that key measures were not taken. When the government started the sapling planting program Revanth was in America. Now the government swung into action. However, the work that was started should be continued and any setback would spoil everything.
