As Via Media Janasena Allocated 24 Seats: RGV!
By: Tupaki Desk | 24 Feb 2024 2:47 PM GMTThe elections in Andhra Pradesh are fast approaching. The ruling YSRCP is a few steps ahead in announcing the candidates as a few lists were announced already. The opposition parties are lagging in this aspect. Putting a full stop to the suspense, the first list of candidates was announced.
The candidates for 118 seats were announced. The TDP would get 94 seats and Janasena was allocated 24 seats. There is a big difference between the seats allocated to the parties. Many predicted that Janasena might get more seats but it was restricted to just 24 seats.
Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma reacted to the allocations and came up with his one analysis on Janasena getting 24 seats. It is said that 23 or 25 seats cannot be given and hence 24 seats were allocated.
RGV said that 23 seats cannot be allocated as it attracts trolls and 25(Pavala) cannot be allocated as well due to trolling. As via media, 24 seats were allocated. His post on seat allocation is getting all the attention.
It is known that 23 has relevance in AP politics as it is used to troll TDP. It's the same number of MLAs who joined the party from the YCP after the 2014 elections. Coincidentally it is the same number of MLAs TDP won in the 2019 elections. YCP leaders still say that it's God’s script that TDP won the same seats it poached earlier.
Opponents use the Pawala term to target Pawan Kalyan. Be it YCP leaders or the cadres they use it to troll him. Highlighting the same points RGV said that Via media 24 seats were allocated to the Janasena. Let us wait and see how the party leaders would react to this.
