Rohit Sharma is a successful captain for the Mumbai Indians team. Under his captaincy, the team started winning the trophies. His tactics and strategies worked well for the team that five times MI reached the finals and five times the team won the title.

This is the impact he left on the team. Now it is being reported that Rohit Sharma is unhappy with the team and wants to quit it. He would not leave the team any time soon but he might make himself available for the 2025 IPL mega auction. With this, he would not be a part of the MI team.

All of a sudden he was removed from the captaincy by the management. A five-time trophy-winning captain was removed all of a sudden. No one knows what happened and fans say that the issue was addressed properly and the captaincy transition was not smooth.

Fans are citing the example of CSK. Mahendra Singh Dhoni gave the captaincy to Ruturaj Gaikwad. The management formally announced this. As Dhoni is a part of the team his experience would help Ruturaj Gaikwad certainly.

Unfortunately, this is not the case with Mumbai Indians. When Mumbai Indians head coach Mark Boucher said that Rohit Sharma was replaced with Hardik Pandya as a cricketing decision and this would help Rohit to contribute better with the bat for the team, Rohit's wife Ritika Sajdeh openly shared her dissatisfaction. She said that there are many things wrong with this.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians is having a tough time and many say that the team is not looking good. Earlier reports said that the Mumbai Indians team has two camps and players are divided. This is not a good sign for the team.

Rohit Sharma fans are unable to digest the captaincy saga. MI played three matches at different locations. In all the matches Hardik Pandya was booed. At the Wankhede Stadium, the home ground,Rohit Sharma required the fans to not boo Hardik Pandya.

Amid this, it is being reported that Rohit Sharma is in plans to leave the team. A few national media outlets claimed the same quoting a Mumbai Indians player telling this to them. Though his name is not revealed the news is getting a wide range of attention.
