Andhra Pradesh is slated to go for the elections next year. Following this, the ruling YSRCP is on a spree of making various changes. The party in-charges were changed in many constituencies. A few other in-charges are also expected to be changed as part of the party efforts to win the upcoming elections.

Of late it is also being said that a few sitting MLAs might be given tickets for the elections and new faces would be given a chance. The possible list of candidates who would be denied tickets reportedly includes popular faces like Minister Roja and others.

Amid this Roja made some interesting comments on this. She said that if the MLAs are not given tickets then it's their mistake and not Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's mistake.

"MLAs who have the public support and fight for them would get their seats. This is the case with a few MLAs. Coming to Ministers they would be strong in those constituencies. If they are changed to one seat from another, the responsibility of winning both seats would be placed on them. If anyone is denied a ticket, we are given four and a half years chance. During the MLA, MLC, and MPs meetings under the Gadapa Gadapaku's meetings CM Jagan clearly said he doesn't want to lose anyone," Roja said.

"CM Jagan told us he is doing everything he can to keep his promises and asked us to see that there will be no negativity against us by taking the welfare schemes to the people. Surveys are underway continuously and if anyone misses a ticket then it's their mistake and not that of the Chief Minister. Everyone should know this," she said.

"Talking about the changes in tickets, Roja said that a few leaders are overthinking about this, and if there is anything the concerned leaders would be called, and then only the decision would be taken," the Minister observed.

On the occasion, Roja also expressed severe dissatisfaction with the yellow media for the fake news about the leaders not getting tickets. She said that they could not do anything except for showing their anger.
