It's a Special Moment To Contest From Kadapa: Sharmila!

The festival of votes is underway as the polling is going on. The vote percentage is picking up gradually across the segments which is a good sign. While there is the same anticipation around the elections in all the segments, a few seats are getting all the attention to see what would be the result.

Talking about Andhra Pradesh, the Kadapa MP segment is surely among the hot seats as it sees the intense fight between cousins. She is locking horns with the sitting Kadapa MP and she is not leaving any stone unturned to attack him.

On the day of the election, YS Sharmila became emotional taking to social media. She shared a picture of her with her father YSR and said that it is a memorable experience to contest from the Kadapa seat which was earlier represented by her father.

Sharmila surprised everyone by merging her party into the Congress and getting appointed as the AP chief. Adding more sensation Sharmila was announced as the Kadapa candidate. Since then she has been targeting her cousin Avinash Reddy, sitting MP.

It has to be mentioned here that Sharmila faced a lot of support from her mother YS Vijayamma seeking support for her. She released a video seeking a chance for Sharmila to serve the people and asked the people to bless her. Sharmila is dubbing the elections as the fight between justice and murderers.

The Kadapa MP segment is a strong zone of the YS family. Earlier, YSR represented the segment four times. In consecutive terms in 1989, 1991, 1996, and 1998 YSR won the elections in the Kadapa seat.
