A Hindu philanthropist has commented that he had briefly worked with artificial intelligence platform, Anthropic for their AI ethics system establishment. This has resulted in an interesting discussion about the kind of ethics that are being established at artificial intelligence platforms.

Swami Sarvapriyananda recalls his meeting with Anthropic at the company’s San Francisco headquarters, where discussions explored AI ethics, morality and whether advanced AI systems could develop consciousness or have moral status.
