87 + 32 = 119 Are Both Parties Contesting Together?
With this, netizens ask if the alliance between Janasena and TDP will be different in AP and Telangana.
By: Tupaki Desk | 17 Oct 2023 8:32 AM GMTThe Telangana politics are becoming intense as the elections are approaching. Talking about the three major parties, BRS and Congress are contesting all the 119 seats. However, there is no clarity about the BJP. Keeping the major parties aside, Janasena already announced the seats it would contest and TDP also did the same. Amid this, an interesting discussion came to light.
Currently, the main fight is between BRS, Congress, and BJP in Telangana. Many say that the other parties would benefit either BRS or the opposition. The criticism is mainly on Janasena. Few say that Pawan reportedly wants to support BRS by splitting the vote by contesting limited seats.
Janasena said that it will contest 32 seats in Telangana in the upcoming elections. Telangana wing of the party is saying that a few changes can be made if any alliance happens. While the seats where the party will contest were announced the candidates are yet to be announced. TDP also gave clarity on the seats it will contest. The party said that candidates are ready to contest in 87 seats.
TDP also announced the number of seats it will contest. But the candidates list was not announced. Keeping this aside, TDP Telangana Chief Kasani Gnaneshwar made some interesting comments. He said that some parties will collapse if TDP contests the elections.
Speaking to the media, he said that the cases filed against Chandrababu Naidu will not stand and he will walk out freely. Saying that he met Chandrababu on the 14th in Mulaqat, he said that Chandrababu lost weight and spoke more about his health. Chandrababu said we would meet again on the 18th, he said.
On the other hand, Kasani said that the list of 30 candidates was discussed with Chandrababu even before the other parties announced their candidates and maintained that the list with 87 candidates is ready and a survey is being held. Interestingly, he said that Chandrababu Naidu will take a call on alliance with Janasena. With this, netizens ask if the alliance between Janasena and TDP will be different in AP and Telangana.
A big discussion is going on in the political circles on whether TDP and Janasena will contest all the Assembly seats in the state as TDP and Janasena announced contesting 87 and 32 seats respectively. While Kasani said that Chandrababu will take a call on the alliance, Telangana Janasena leaders are saying there will be changes in seats if the alliance happens.
As the seats contested by the two parties are 119 if combined, the supporters and followers of both parties are interestingly observing this. If the two parties contest together, then it would be interesting as Janasena is contesting seats where TDP is said to be strong.
For example, TDP is said to be having cadre in seats like Kukatpally, LB Nagar, Serilingampalle, Sanathnagar, Patancheru, Uppal, Wyra, Khammam, Kothagudem, Paleru, Illandu. The list announced by Janasena includes these seats as well. Many say that there will be no issues for both parties if Pawan Kalyan compromises on a few seats or contests together.
However, the political observers say that TDP and Janasena have the calculation of 87 + 32 = 119 for a long time. But we have to wait and see which party will be benefited and which party will be affected. We are hearing comments that Kasani is targeting only Congress but not BRS. Many say that it will be good if they get clarity on the strategies.
