TDP cadres want Chandrababu to move closer to I.N.D.I.A front

Slowly but surely, a clamour is growing within the Telugu Desam ranks for parting ways with the BJP-led NDA and move closer to the I.N.D.I.A group. The voices are growing stronger especially after the BJP’s lukewarm approach towards Chandrababu Naidu’s implication in the Skill Development scam and his consequent imprisonment.

The TDP leaders and cadres are upset that the BJP has done nothing so far on the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu. There is a strong suspicion that the BJP was moving the pawns for Chandrababu’s arrest. The TDP cadres feel that but for BJP’s nod, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would not have gone ahead with the arrest.

The TDP leaders and cadres feel that while the BJP remained a mute spectator or a silent abettor of Chandrababu’s arrest, the I.N.D.I.A leaders like Mamta Banerjee and Akhilesh Yadav have voiced serious concerns over Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest. So, the general feeling is that the TDP should openly align with the I.N.D.I.A front.

These Telugu Desam leaders want the Jana Sena to support the TDP and the constituents of the I.N.D.I.A like the Left Parties and the DMK should extend a helping hand to the TDP. This will help in nullifying the YSRCP plans and enable the TDP to come back to power in the 2024 assembly elections.
