The election fever gripped Telangana as the much-awaited general elections are around the corner. The elections are just a few days away from now and the last date of the election campaign is also fast approaching. The grand old Congress Party which is confident of coming to power and repeating the Karnataka election is putting its best efforts into leaving a strong impression on the voters.
As part of this Gandhi scion Priyanka Gandhi Vadra came to the poll-bound state to campaign for her party. Big crowds were present during the same.
But an interesting thing happened as TDP flags were flashed at the meeting. It is strange that TDP flags were spotted during the meeting which grabbed everyone's attention. Both parties are not in alliance and TDP did not support the Congress directly. Despite this TDP flags were flashed during the meeting and this became a hot topic.
This unexpected development came at a time when reports were abuzz that TDP might have extended its support to Congress without any formal announcement. Revanth Reddy who was with the TDP earlier is the TPCC chief and a few former TDP leaders are in Congress now.
It is said that TDP is supporting the Congress thinking that it might have an advantage if Congress comes to power in the state as Chandrababu Naidu is skillful enough to get along with anyone. BJP has not shown interest in joining hands with TDP and for this, the party might have picked Congress.
