With this, the major parties in the state kept themselves busy sharpening their strategies. TDP and Janasena decided to contest the elections together. They are also focusing on taking the BJP along with them.
Chandrababu Naidu already went to Delhi and met Amit Shah and JP Nadda. It was reported that the main motto behind the meeting was to discuss the alliance and related issues. Even before TDP and Janasena joined hands Pawan Kalyan met the bigwigs in the BJP in Delhi.
Media reports say that the BJP might give a green signal to walk with TDP and Janasena on February 20 or 21. Political gossip says that Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan might visit Delhi soon to finalise the alliance. AP BJP chief Daggubati Purandeswari already said that the leadership will take the call on the alliance.

However, the BJP is not stressing on the Assembly seats. But it wants eight MP seats. The political talk is that Chandrababu Naidu agreed to allot 35 Assembly seats and 10 MP seats to BJP and Janasena.
Reports say that BJP wants 45 Assembly seats out of total 175 seats to BJP and Janasena, Out of the 45 seats 12-15 seats will go to BJP, while the rest will go to Janasena. BJP and Janasena reportedly told Chandrababu that a vote shift is possible only with this.
Kapu leader, former Minister Chegondi Harirama Jogaiah has been saying that Janasena should not be restricted to fewer seats as the Kapu community might not vote for the party if few seats are taken. Now the BJP is said to be placing a similar demand.
Observers say that BJP wants an alliance government with three parties playing an active role instead of TDP taking the majority seats and forming the government with its seats. Chandrababu Naidu is believed to have okayed the demand. People are saying that earlier Chandrababu assured those who didn't get tickets would be given good positions.
On February 20 or 21 Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan might announce the alliance with BJP. AP BJP chief Daggubati Purandeswari might also be present on the occasion.
