Telangana Youth Attacked With Knife In US

There is no denial in saying that the United States is the land of opportunities and people from various parts of the world land there for various purposes. Students prefer America for higher studies due to various factors like opportunities and exposure. Indians are not an exemption to this.

An Indian youth who landed in the US with a lot of hopes became prey for an attack. A 24-year-old was stabbed with a knife leaving him sustaining injuries. He was rushed to the nearby hospital and the treatment is underway. It is said that the victim’s health condition is critical.

Going into details, Varun Tej who hails from Khammam is staying in the US to pursue his MS. To make ends meet, he is doing a part-time job in Indiana. Unfortunately, he was stabbed at a gym.

It is said that he was attacked with a knife while he was heading to his house from the gym. The victim regularly goes to the Planet Fitness Gym in Valparaiso, Indiana. However, the reason behind the attack is still unknown.

The suspect is said to have been identified and arrested. He was sent to the concerned jail and various charges were slapped against him for the ruckus he created.

Talking about Varun Tej’s background, he is from Khammam’s Mamillagudem. His father is a government school teacher by profession. After learning about the incident, he met the concerned Minister and sought the required help for his son’s treatment.
