The much-awaited general elections in Telangana are slated to commence this month. Three major parties in the state are busy with the election preparations and they are confident of winning. In the wake of the elections, surveys are being held by the firms to understand the public mood.

Now a new survey was conducted in the state and the results are interesting. The survey said that the ruling BRS and Congress will have a tough fight in the elections. The BJP would be restricted to the third place as per the survey.

A survey which is conducted in the name of the "Telangana ABP-C Voter Survey" hinted at the tough fight between BRS and Congress. Even in terms of vote shares they get the parties are competition with each other.

The survey said that out of the 119 Assembly seats in the state, the ruling BRS would get between 49 to 61 seats while the Congress would get 43 to 55. BJP might get 5 to 11 Assembly seats.

The ruling BRS would get 41 percent vote share, followed by Congress with 39 percent and BJP with 14 percent. When the participants were asked about the top pick for the CM post, 37 percent of people said KCR while 31 percent of people picked TPCC chief Revanth Reddy. The survey was held between October 9 to November 3 as an opinion poll and 63,000 people participated in the survey.

The magic figure for the government is 60 in the state and the survey said BRS would get 49 to 61 seats while Congress might get 43 to 55. It looks like the ruling party might come to power with no big majority or it might face a big fight with Congress. It would be not a surprise if we see a hung in the state.
