Trump Paying Iran Rs 2800 Crore, No Nuclear Power?
On top of that, there have been speculations about the United States administration agreeing to pay around $300 million to Iran in property damages and frozen transactions.
By: Tupaki Desk | 16 Jun 2026 5:52 PM ISTThe United States administration under the leadership of Donald Trump took on the Iran administration and the repercussions were pretty severe as well. And now that a peace agreement has been found, things are looking interesting now.
President Trump has put the Iranian regime and its radical leaders on notice with a blunt warning at the G7, making it clear the Islamic Republic will not be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon in any way, shape, or form.
"If they do, they suffer unbelievable consequences, the ultimate consequences," Trump said before doubling down that Iran will not be permitted to develop, buy, or acquire one if they want to maintain a very good relationship with the United States.
On top of that, there have been speculations about the United States administration agreeing to pay around $300 million to Iran in property damages and frozen transactions. This roughly convert to around ₹2800 crore in Indian currency.
When asked to comment on this, Trump said there is no such thing as a financial agreement between United States and Iran. He made it very clear that Iran will not be receiving any kind of money from the United States for this effect.
But at the same time, Iran says the US has agreed to pay $300 billion in reconstruction funds directly to Iran as part of the deal Pakistan announced, alongside the release of $24 billion in frozen funds with $12 billion released before negotiations even start, per Mehr News.
This directly contradicts Trump's & Vance's claim that no funds will be transferred to Iran at all.
