The Bharat Rashtra Samithi(BRS) led by KCR entered the high intense elections with a lot of expectations. However, the party could not meet the expectations and fell short of achieving them. BRS wanted to come to power for the third consecutive term and set up a new record.

But the election result had a different outcome. The Congress party came to power in the state changing the political landscape. The two-time winner BRS became the opposition in the state as it won the second-highest seats.

A big debate is going on about who from the BRS would be the opposition leader. BRS has three strong leaders KCR, his son KTR, and Harish Rao. Since the election results were announced a big debate has been going on about who would be the face of the opposition in the House.

Amid this, the news is doing rounds which say that BRS chief KCR is surveying to get the opinion on who should lead the opposition. It is said that two leaders are in the race who are KCR's son KTR and former Finance Minister Harish Rao.

It is said that KCR is seeking the opinion of the MLAs on the topic. Reports say that the majority of the MLAs are in favour of Harish Rao saying that he can effectively face Revanth Reddy in the house.

Few other MLAs are in favour of KTR saying that he should be groomed well and he should be allowed to lead the opposition if he should be made the Chief Minister in the future.

MLAs are said to be having different opinions on the issue and we have to wait and see what decision the BRS chief would take on who should lead the opposition. We might get clarity on this soon.

On the other hand, another debate is going on saying that KCR is reportedly thinking about giving Kadiyam Srihari a chance if a senior leader from the SC community should be given a chance to lead the party as the opposition head.
