UP To Welcome Lord Shiva Themed Stadium!

The most populated state in the country Uttar Pradesh is going through a big transformation under the tenure of Yogi Adityanath. The infrastructure is being developed and the dreaded criminals are being dealt with an iron fist. Now the state is said to be on the verge of getting a big push.

As per the media reports, Uttar Pradesh is set to welcome an international cricket stadium which is likely to have a theme of Lord Shiva. The proposed stadium is expected to have a seating capacity of 30,000 and would spread across 31 acres. The construction cost is likely to be Rs 400 crores.

As the stadium will have a theme of Lord Shiva, its dome would be like Trishul and the floodlights would be like a Trishul. The steps at the stadium are likely to be like the Ganga Ghat steps.

The proposed stadium will take as many as 30 months to complete and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to lay the foundation stone for the stadium. The stadium will be constructed in the temple city of Varanasi.

Varanasi or Kashi is one of the major Shiva temples in the country and people from various parts visit the temple. Given the significance, the theme of Lord Shiva might have been picked.

Uttar Pradesh already has stadiums like Green Park Stadium(Kanpur) and Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium(Lucknow). If the new stadium comes, then it will become the third stadium.

It is known that Cricket enjoys an unmatched craze in India and the sport even surpassed the national game of hockey in this. Fans celebrate the game like a carnival. Once the new stadium is ready another stadium with all the required amenities will be welcomed by Varanasi.
