The stage is being prepared for the nomination of Thalapathi Vijay as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu as he has finally managed to secure the number of seats to form the government.

Things are starting to look promising for Vijay now as his TVK alliance has crossed the 118 mark to consolidatedly form the government in Tamil Nadu.

It is already known that the Congress party has communicated in principle that Vijay will be receiving their conditional support along with their 5 MLAs. This is the most significant contribution to the TVK in terms of alliance parties.

And now the latest developments are suggesting that TVK has managed to grab the support of smaller parties like CPI, CPM, and VCK. These parties are contributing to MLAs each to the TBK alliance.

Subsequently, Vijay now has the required 118 MLA signatures to form the government in Tamil Nadu, and this is where the political game starts now.

After securing this magic figure, number two form the government in Tamil Nadu, the only thing pending now is the appointment of Thalapathy Vijay as the chief minister of the state.

It should be a matter of time before Vijay gets appointed as the new chief minister of Tamil Nadu as his alliance has the required strength to the government.
