Vijaya Shanti To Take On KCR In Kamareddy?

It is known that BRS chief KCR announced the list of contesting candidates recently. But the biggest surprise came when KCR announced that he would be contesting from two seats. Besides his Gajwel, the Chief Minister will also contest from the Kamareddy Assembly seat in the next elections.

While KCR has his reasons for doing so, the opposition parties are busy seeing the issues from different lenses. Many say that the CM did this as a precautionary measure as Etela Rajender said he is ready to contest from the Gajwel seat.

Now what we have been hearing is that, if everything goes well, Vijayashanti might be fielded against KCR. The reason for this is that the BJP leadership reportedly wants to give her a chance. Though a few names popped up, Vijayashanti might get picked over others.

The buzz around this possibility is such that even Vijayashanti acknowledged this. Taking to Twitter, she said that she is hearing about this from the journalists and media. She said that as a response to this from her side, she is ready to contest from any seat including Kamareddy.

Saying that the BJP leadership will decide the seat she will contest, Vijayashanthi said that it is her job to follow the instructions given by the leadership. Her post received a good response.

With Vijaya Shanti indirectly saying that she is ready to take up the post, observers say that it might be possible to see KCR and Vijaya Shanti fighting each other from the Kamareddy seat.

Vijaya Shanti is not just an actor, but also a strong supporter of Telangana. It is known that she started a party and took part in the state agitation. All these factors might come in handy in the elections.
